Disclaimer!
Because any discussion about diet and health has always been a touchy subject (as much as religion, culture, and politics are), I'm obligated to provide a disclaimer.
Please keep in mind that the techniques taught in this class are NOT intended to treat or cure real diseases. Although some are remedies used by Muggles, you must NOT experiment with them. You must consult a doctor, pharmacist, nurse, or other trusted health care professional before taking anything that might effect your overall health.
There are two videos in Lesson 2 that I link to that have a few clips of animals being killed or abused. These videos are clearly marked in red and therefore you can avoid them if you do not want to watch them. HOL is not responsible for any clips of animal cruelty you happen to see.
Also, I am vegan and therefore of course this class is pro-vegan. But if you want to spend all of the homework telling me why I'm 100% wrong, I'm fine with that. :) I'm not going to grade you on your personal opinion. My only desire is to provide information about what different types of vegans exist and what they believe is true. You'll have to decide for yourself what you believe to be true.
